Job summary

Brooks Automation in Malaysia seeks a Manufacturing Engineer III to own end-to-end line design and process control for capital equipment assemblies. You will drive NPI, ramp-up, process validation, and sustainment, coordinating with product development, quality, and supply chain to ensure manufacturability and cost targets.

You bring a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years in manufacturing engineering, with PFMEA, control plans, and hands-on fixture/tooling experience.

Qualifications

• PFMEA, control plans, WI, root cause analysis, and validation methods.
• Hands-on with fixtures, tooling, measurement systems, and safety practices.
• Ability to work on 3 rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Define, validate, and maintain process definitions and control plans.
• Lead NPI, ramp-up and product realization for high‑volume manufacturing.
• Provide daily technical support and troubleshoot process issues.
• Plan CAPEX budget and justify line setup investments.
• Lead CI and implement PFMEA and process improvements.
