Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Digitalization Engineer to drive factory-wide digitalization, planning, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing IT solutions across the plant.
You will work with MES, WMS, APS, PLM, QMS, and other enterprise systems, coordinate IT infrastructure, collaborate with users and vendors, and contribute to AI-enabled projects and data governance.

This role supports factory-wide digitalization and information systems initiatives, including planning, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing systems and digital solutions.
Candidates with strong qualifications and relevant experience may be considered for a Supervisor-level position as Digital Transformation Supervisor.
Key responsibilities
Support the planning and implementation of factory-wide digitalization and information systems initiatives
Assist in developing digitalization plans and implementation roadmaps for new and existing manufacturing facilities
Coordinate the deployment of IT infrastructure, including network, server room, and industrial control network (OT/IT) infrastructure
Coordinate and support the implementation, configuration, testing, and integration of key manufacturing systems such as MES, WMS, QMS, APS, and PLM
Work closely with business users and system vendors to understand requirements and ensure successful system implementation
Provide ongoing system support and optimization to ensure digital solutions deliver practical business value
Support system integration and data connectivity between different manufacturing platforms
Support factory data governance and data quality improvement initiatives
Analyze operational data to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement
Support the evaluation and implementation of smart manufacturing and AI-related projects
About you
Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Engineering, IoT, Smart Manufacturing, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, digitalization, information systems, or manufacturing digital transformation
Experience in manufacturing IT systems or factory digitalization projects is highly preferred
Familiar with manufacturing systems such as MES, WMS, APS, PLM, QMS, or other related enterprise/manufacturing applications
Basic understanding of industrial AI, AI visual inspection, smart manufacturing, and digital transformation projects
Knowledge of data management, data governance, and data analysis
Strong project coordination and cross-functional communication skills
Good analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Able to understand business requirements and translate them into practical digital solutions
Proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Good communication skills in English and/or Chinese will be an advantage.
