Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Manager Yield and Stability Excellence to lead the backend yield and stability program in a high-volume semiconductor back-end environment.

You will champion performance management, data-driven improvement, and cross-functional engagement across Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Business Divisions to deliver sustainable gains and prevent risks. This role emphasizes leadership and strategic execution.

Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

In this role, you willlead the Yield and Stability team insustaining and improving yield, stability, scrap management, and cost performance to achieve organizational objectives in a high-volume semiconductor back-end manufacturing environment.You will support people development and performance management, while driving cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Business Divisions to resolve yield-related challenges and deliver continuous improvement.

Accountable and responsible for backend end-to-end (pre-assembly to final test) yield sustaining, improvement and stability of the Operations

Provide technical leadership in line with organization's mission and deploy to next level by prioritizing multiple activities ranging from daily operational support to sustainable improvement in performance using sound problem-solving techniques and communication / negotiation skills

Interface and collaborate with other Test locations, Frontend, Cluster and Global PTE, DIV PRM and other Backend manufacturing sites on yield and escalation topics

Drives cross-functional action plans with clear owners, milestones, and accountability, while challenging barriers, removing obstacles, and maintaining execution momentumto ensure targets are achieved and demonstrating urgency when performance deviates from goals

Responsible forperformance management by setting effective indicators, monitoring and driving improvement, and conducting periodical reviewto ensure continuity of activities, achievement of short-term and long-range objectives of the organization

Proactivelyanalyzes yield data, Pareto trends, test failures, and process indicators to identify improvement opportunities and emerging risks before significant impact occurs and prioritizes opportunities based on business impact

Responsible for governance of yield systematic and implement methods to enhance yield management process

Responsible foryearly MAL TCR yield plan and target setting that deliver minimum €6mil CoY gain annually thru yield initiatives led by YSE YL head

Responsible forMAL Operations escalation andmanage Escalation Review platform to provide weekly overall excursion topics and drive for lesson learnt and best practices across modules for standardization and effective complexity management

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

You strive for excellence in semiconductor manufacturing, leveraging extensive experience in process, product, yield, or test engineering to drive performance, solve complex problems, and deliver sustainable improvements.You demonstrate strong leadership, communication, analytical, and presentation skills, with the ability to coach and develop teams while collaborating effectively across functional areas to achieve business objectives.

Degree inElectrical / Electronics / Physics / Chemistry or any other relevant engineering discipline

Minimum 10 years of working experience in thesemiconductor industry, particularly inprocess, product, yield, or test engineering

Broad knowledge of wafer fabrication processes, assembly processes, and quality systems will be an added advantage

Excellent knowledge ofassembly process, test process or product engineering

Working knowledge offront-end, development and quality systematic and tools

Professional leadership of team includingcoaching, mentoring and team’s development

Stronginterpersonal communication skills

Stronganalytical thought and problem-solving knowledge in own and other functional areas (e.g. quality, test process)

Effective presentation skills to big audience
