Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) requires an experienced Civil/Structures/Geotechnical/Electrical Engineer to oversee Landscape, C&S and M&E construction progress at site. The role involves updating the Immediate Superior with progress, resolving site hindrances and proposing practical solutions.

You will assist in establishing reporting formats, verify drawings and specifications, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Minimum ten years working experience in Landscape, Electrical Engineering, Civil & Geotechnical Construction works.
• Experience in high-rise, commercial and premium outlets is an advantage.
• Experience in Landscape or High Voltage Power Industry including construction of power transmission lines and substations up to 500kV is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Landscape, Civil & Structural design and collaboration with consultants.

Responsabilidades

• Update Immediate Superior with Landscape, C&S and M&E construction progress and any site hindrances, proposing solutions.
• Assist in establishing Landscape, C&S and M&E progress reporting formats and manuals for the department.
• Verify civil drawings, specifications and work programs for accuracy and coordinate with the Civil Consultant.
• Assist in maintaining project documentation, correspondences, drawings and submittals for easy retrieval.
• Monitor electrical work activities, material delivery and storage by subcontractors to minimize site hindrances.
• Maintain rapport with clients, consultants and authorities and present progress reports during meetings.
• Monitor performance of civil subcontractors during construction and defect liability period, including schedule, methods, safety and quality.

Update the Immediate Superior with the Landscape, C&S as well as M&E construction progress as well as any problem or hindrance encountered at site and recommend / propose as to the possible solutions to that.

Assisting Immediate Superior in establishing the Landscape, C&S and M&E works progress reporting format / system and all the procedures or manuals to be followed by the member of Department especially at site.

Verify all the Landscape, C&S and M&E Construction Drawings, specification and any related documents including the work program before proceeding with the works at site and timely advice the Immediate Superior for any discrepancy or incorrect matter encountered.

Assisting Immediate Superior in establishing procedure and system for the Department in keeping as well as updating all the correspondences, construction drawings, documents, submittal etc. so that it is easily retrievable at any time.

Assisting Immediate Superior in monitoring, planning and coordinating of all the electrical work activities including materials delivery to site and storage by the subcontractor/suppliers in order to is not totally avoid, minimize hindrance to all the site activities.

Establishing and continually maintaining rapport with clients, Consultants, authorities and all the peers in order to have a good and healthy working environment. Assisting Immediate Superior in presenting the report on electrical construction progress and any related issue to clients/consultants during the meeting with them either or at site.

Monitoring the overall performance of all the civil subcontractors during the construction and defect liability period which shall include negotiation with them in particular on the technical aspects of it as well as work schedule, method of construction, safety precaution, quality assurance etc.

Verify all the engineering drawings issued by appointed Civil Consultant before submission to the customer for approval. The verification aspects shall be on technical and commercial (cost optimization) basis.

Monitor the progress of design and engineering works against the project work programmed.

As and when necessary, performing the geotechnical assessment at Substation Sites.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural /Geotechnical/Electrical Engineering from the recognized Educational Institution.

Minimum ten (10) years working in the Landscape, Electrical Engineering, Civil & Geotechnical Construction Works.

Experienced in mix development, high rise building, commercial and premium outlet is an advantage.

Experience in the Landscape or High Voltage Power Industry including the construction of Power Transmission Lines (overhead and underground) and Substations up to 500KV industry is on added advantage.

Sound knowledge in the Landscape, Civil & Structural Design Works and experience working with Consultant is an added advantage.

Computer literate especially with Microsoft Office and able to use Microsoft Project including Google workspace

Familiar with Feasibility Study report preparations

Willing to relocate and/or travelling
