The Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia role focuses on monitoring key controls around Daily PnL and balance sheet processes, ensuring timely review, and engaging with technology, product control and regional finance teams.

The role requires CA or MBA with 6+ years in finance, strong IFRS 9 knowledge, and experience with SAP/PeopleSoft/MS SQL; expected to lead process improvements and drive risk-aware performance.

Qualifications

• CA or MBA (Finance) qualification is required.
• 6+ years of experience in a similar field.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial markets products.

Responsabilités

• Monitor key controls around Daily PnL and balance sheet for asset classes.
• Review reconciliations between TP systems and General Ledger; ensure timely completion.
• Lead process improvements, automation, and data integrity reporting.
• Collaborate with Technology, Product Control, in-country finance and risk teams.
• Support IFRS 9 classification and measurement as needed.
