Job summary

FLEXTRONICS TECHNOLOGY (PENANG) SDN BHD in Penang seeks a DFX & Process Development Senior Manager to lead a team of DFX engineers, ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets are met. You will provide technical leadership on new technology development, qualification, and deployment across the EMS cluster.

The role requires guiding design teams, overseeing budgets, tracking progress, and supporting customers and Sales while recruiting and retaining a skilled workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 9 years of engineering experience, including supervision.
• Experience managing a DFX engineering team is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrates knowledge of PCBA manufacturing and DFX in EMS.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to Hardware/Software Engineering & Design teams.
• Oversee budgeting, allocation, review, and approval.
• Track projects through regular reviews.
• Develop control systems and reports to measure progress and identify problems.
• Participate in product architecture and feasibility reviews.
• Guide development of product designs from proposal to delivery.
• Provide technical support to customers and Sales.
• Recruit and retain qualified workforce through HR actions.
