Job summary

Maybank invites a seasoned banking professional to lead and grow a portfolio of Financial Institutions, Sovereigns and NBFIs across the region. You will partner with clients to understand their strategies, delivering tailored banking solutions across lending, treasury, trade finance and capital markets.

You will drive end-to-end credit origination, including financial analysis, transaction structuring and presenting proposals to approval authorities, while maintaining governance and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in Financial Institutions, Global Banking, Corporate Banking, Institutional Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Credit Risk or Relationship Management.
• Strong corporate relationship management and business development capabilities, with a track record of originating and growing client relationships.
• Sound credit underwriting, financial analysis and transaction structuring skills, with the ability to assess financing opportunities and deliver well-reasoned credit recommendations.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, credit risk assessment and portfolio management principles.
• Ability to develop tailored financing and banking solutions that meet clients' strategic, funding and risk management requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior executives, regulators and internal stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen with sound knowledge of market developments, industry trends and the competitive banking landscape.
• Experience covering Financial Institutions, Sovereigns, Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) or other institutional client segments will be an added advantage.
• Experience working in regional or cross-border banking environments across ASEAN markets will be highly regarded.
