GEP Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Manager – Procurement Consulting to lead strategic client engagements and drive regional growth across Southeast Asia. You will oversee complex procurement transformations, advise senior executives, and expand GEP’s footprint in Malaysia and the broader SEA market.

You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, manage project economics and foster cross-sell opportunities while collaborating with stakeholders across consulting, software and managed services.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of experience in procurement consulting, procurement transformation, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related discipline; MBA/master’s degree or CPSM/CPM certifications are a plus.
• Strong track record leading end-to-end procurement consulting engagements and delivering measurable savings.

Responsabilités

• Own small to mid-scale engagements from business development through delivery and benefits realization.

The Opportunity

This is a client leadership andmarket-building role for an experienced procurement consulting leader whocan own complex engagements, advise C-suite and Procurement leadership, developclient relationships and help grow GEP's business across SEA.

You will lead high-impactprocurement transformation programs while playing an active role in expandingGEP's existing client footprint and supporting new opportunities acrossMalaysia and the broader Southeast Asian market.

What You’ll Do

• Lead complex, end-to-end procurement consultingand transformation programs across strategy, sourcing, categorymanagement, cost optimization and procurement operating modeltransformation.
• Own Small and mid-scale engagements from businessdevelopment and solution design through delivery, implementation andbenefits realization .
• Advise CPOs, CFOs and senior business stakeholders onprocurement strategy, value creation and transformation priorities.
• Lead mid-scale spend diagnostics, opportunityassessments, category strategies, sourcing programs and costtransformation initiatives.
• Design procurement operating models, governancestructures, processes, performance frameworks and transformation roadmaps.
• Lead executive workshops and influence seniorstakeholders through data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
• Build, coach and lead high-performing consultingteams across multiple engagements.
• Own project economics, quality, risk, timelines andclient satisfaction.
• Identify whitespace within existing accounts anddevelop cross-sell, upsell and account expansion opportunities .
• Partner with GEP leadership on SEA marketdevelopment , including pipeline development, proposals, clientpresentations and strategic pursuits.
• Build strong relationships with Procurement andbusiness leaders across Malaysia and the broader SEA market.
• Collaborate with GEP's consulting, software andmanaged services teams to create integrated client solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• 12–15+ years of experience in procurementconsulting, procurement transformation, strategic sourcing or categorymanagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business,Engineering or a related discipline; MBA/master’s degree or certificationssuch as CPSM/CPM are a plus.
• Strong track record leading end-to-end procurementconsulting engagements and delivering measurable savings/businessoutcomes.
• Deep expertise across procurement strategy, sourcing,category management, supplier management, cost optimization and operatingmodel transformation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead mid or large scale,complex consulting programs and multi-disciplinary teams .
• Strong executive presence with experience engaging CPO/CFO/C-suitestakeholders .
• Proven commercial acumen with experience in businessdevelopment, proposal leadership, account growth or client relationshipmanagement .
• Strong understanding of the SEA procurementlandscape and ideally an established regional network.
• Ability to translate procurement challenges intocompelling business cases and consulting solutions.
• Excellent communication, influencing and presentationskills.
• Willingness to travel across SEA as required.
