Job summary

AT&S is seeking a Senior Specialist - Maintenance in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia, to lead preventive and corrective maintenance for high-end PCB and IC substrate production equipment. You will troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, servo motors, sensors, and robotics, perform RCA, and drive reliability improvements.

You will collaborate with Production, Process, Quality, and Procurement teams, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while supporting ramp-ups and new equipment installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or manufacturing support within PCB, semiconductor, or electronics industries.
• Experience with plating, lithography, Mechanical Build-Up (MBU), assembly, or test processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related failures.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability, OEE, and maintenance performance.
• Support installation, commissioning, qualification, and ramp-up of new production equipment.
• Manage critical spare parts, inventory levels, and maintenance procurement.
• Collaborate with Production, Process, Quality, and Procurement teams to reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead maintenance projects and coach technicians to improve troubleshooting and execution.
