Job summary

ELSA in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules. You will align approved work orders with available manpower, tools, materials, and equipment to keep plant operations running smoothly.

The role requires a minimum of five years in maintenance planning, preferably in Oil & Gas or related industries, and hands-on experience with CMMS like SAP and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Experience with CMMS (SAP) and scheduling tools (Primavera P6).
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in industrial plants.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and optimize maintenance activities to align work orders with manpower, tools, and materials.
• Prioritize maintenance requests and ensure preventive, corrective, and shutdown tasks are timely.
• Allocate resources, monitor progress, and adjust schedules for urgent tasks.
• Lead scheduling meetings, communicate updates to stakeholders, and maintain documentation.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and maximize equipment reliability and plant availability.
