Job summary

Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate and optimize maintenance activities across plant operations.

The role requires coordinating field checks, job planning, and resource allocation to ensure reliable production. Responsibilities include managing work orders in CMMS/SAP PM, preparing comprehensive job packages, and collaborating with operations, MAC, and contractors for preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Experience with CMMS and SAP PM (Plant Maintenance).
• Experience in work order management and job package preparation.
• Knowledge of resource planning (manpower, tools, materials).
• Basic knowledge of cost estimation and contracting.
• Good understanding of plant equipment including rotating, electrical, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure reliable plant operations.
• Review work requests, conduct field checks, and prepare job plans covering manpower, materials, tools, and safety requirements.
• Manage work orders in CMMS/SAP PM and ensure resources are available before start.
• Collaborate with MAC, operations, maintenance teams, and contractors to schedule preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance.
• Analyze maintenance data, monitor performance, and improve planning processes to reduce downtime and costs.
