Job summary

RP Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Maintenance Planner to develop and optimize maintenance work plans, schedules, and TAR activities in its Gebeng facility.

The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient execution, reducing downtime, and maintaining asset integrity across the plant. The ideal candidate will manage SAP PM workflows, prepare material requirements, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement in planning processes with strong coordination across Maintenance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in maintenance planning, shutdown/TAR planning in petrochemical/oil & gas/manufacturing.
• Proficient in SAP PM for work orders, planning and reporting.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and asset integrity.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed maintenance work plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Prepare and optimize turnaround schedules and identify critical activities.
• Generate PRs via SAP Work Orders and coordinate with Procurement/Warehouse.
• Monitor progress, identify deviations, and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain SAP PM data: work orders, BOMs, maintenance plans, history.
• Analyze maintenance performance reports for management review.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Procurement and Contractors.
