Job summary

Air Products Malaysia Sdn is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer (North) to plan and schedule major maintenance activities, lead turnaround efforts, and ensure safe, compliant execution across North Malaysia operations.

The role involves coordinating predictive/preventive maintenance, maintaining the mechanical integrity program, and supporting plant reliability improvements while meeting budget and schedule targets. ISO and EH&S practices are integral to daily duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5 years working experience in similar role.
• Knowledge of industrial gas or chemical processing plants is preferred.
• Have experience of leading maintenance planning, shutdowns/turnarounds, reliability programs and maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule major maintenance activities to optimize utilization of all resources and facilitate safe, smooth and cost-effective execution within budget and schedule.
• Plan and schedule turnarounds and coordinate maintenance resources.
• Chair turnaround meetings, review schedules, progress and post-turnaround reports.
• Assist in predictive/preventive maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Ensure safe execution and schedule compliance, with reporting.
