Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead a team of technicians in supporting FOL production equipment at Krubong, Melaka. You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and collaborate with Production, Process Engineering and Quality to improve OEE, MTBF and MTTR while reducing downtime.

A Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic engineering and 3–8 years of semiconductor equipment

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Electronics /Electrical /Mechanical /Mechatronic engineering.
3–8 years’ experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, servo and automation systems.
Experience with Die Attach, Wire Bond, Cure Oven, Junction Coat or similar assembly equipment.
Knowledge of TPM, Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, FMEA, and RCA.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of technicians to support company objectives.
Ensure high equipment uptime, reliability and availability for FOL production equipment.
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Develop, optimize and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OEE, MTBF and MTTR.
Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing to resolve issues.
