Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Malaysia seeks a Maintenance Engineer to lead a team of technicians in Krubong to support FOL production.

You will ensure high equipment uptime, reliability and availability of Die Attach, Wire Bond, Cure Oven and related automation, and drive root cause analysis to minimize downtime. The role covers preventive and predictive maintenance, continuous improvement to improve OEE, MTBF and MTTR, equipment modification, spare parts management, calibration, safety and

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma of Engineering in Electronics /Electrical /Mechanical /Mechatronic engineering.
• Minimum 3–8 years’ experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, servo and automation systems.
• Knowledge of TPM, PM, Predictive Maintenance, FMEA, RCA and Lean Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to support production objectives.
• Ensure high equipment uptime, reliability and availability for FOL production equipment (e.g. Die Attach, Wire Bond, Cure Oven and related automation).
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Develop, optimize and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OEE, MTBF and MTTR.
• Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams.
• Support new equipment installation, qualifications, commissioning and technology transfers.
• Manage spare parts, maintenance documentation, calibration and safety/quality compliance.
• Lead equipment modification, cost reduction, automation and reliability improvement projects.
• Mentor maintenance technicians to build a high performing team.
