Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Krubong, Melaka is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead a team of technicians and assure high equipment uptime for FOL production equipment like Die Attach, Wire Bond, and Cure Oven.

You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with Production, Process Engineering and Quality teams to enhance reliability and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical and automation systems.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to support production objectives.
• Ensure high equipment uptime and availability for FOL production equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment downtime.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve performance.
• Drive OEE improvements and cost reduction through reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering and Quality teams to resolve issues.
• Support new equipment installation, commissioning and tech transfers.
• Manage spare parts, maintenance documentation, calibration and safety compliance.
• Lead equipment modification and automation improvement projects.
• Analyze equipment data and implement corrective actions to boost productivity.
