OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd invites an experienced Senior Staff Engineer to lead equipment engineering for metal deposition at Kulim, Malaysia. You will oversee scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot failures, and drive CI programs in a cross-functional setting.

The role requires 8+ years in semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment, strong process engineering skills, and leadership capabilities in a multinational environment. English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's/PhD preferred.
At least 8 years of front-end semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment experience.
Experience leading cross-functional teams (process & equipment engineering, production).
Able to work in cross-cultural multi-national environment.
Skilled in OEE, SPC, FDC, 8D problem solving, FMEA, DMAIC, TWI.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Perform equipment scheduled maintenances according to the maintenance schedules and specifications.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform unscheduled maintenances to ensure quality recovery and minimum down time.
Prepare daily scheduled / unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting activity reports for engineers and supervisors.
Maintain equipment spare parts and consumables.
Engage in equipment Continuous Improvement Programs.
Support new equipment hookup and startup activities.
Adhere to 5S, EHS, Waste Management, Cleanroom Protocol and Total Quality Management System policies.
Support activities related to production equipment, such as material preparation.
