Job summary

Toppan Security Malaysia SDN. BHD. is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of production machinery, equipment, and systems. You will oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and lead repairs and improvements.

You will supervise and develop maintenance staff, manage spare parts and costs, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while driving uptime and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
• 5–7 years in industrial maintenance with 2+ years in a senior/supervisory role.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in high-security or card manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Willingness to work on-call or off-hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for all machinery and systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or technical issues promptly.
• Supervise and mentor maintenance staff; conduct training.
• Lead equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning projects.
• Maintain records, reports, and KPI dashboards for maintenance.
• Monitor budgets and optimize spare parts inventory.
