Job summary

Intelligence Technology Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned MEP Project Engineer to oversee design and construction progress within the assigned scope, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule targets are met. You will participate in design briefings, prepare technical briefing documents, coordinate planning, and support equipment procurement and cost control.

The role covers data centre projects and cleanroom facilities across Penang and other sites.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in design and construction within the M&E engineering industry.
• Familiar with industrial pipeline construction in cleanroom environments (semiconductor, electronics, pharmaceutical, food production).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in data centre project delivery; management or medical device project background is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage project construction within the assigned scope, ensuring progress, safety, and quality targets are achieved.
• Participate in design briefings and drawing reviews, and prepare technical briefing documents for project teams.
• Propose material requirements and assist in preparing project cost plans and cost control measures.
• Coordinate and prepare construction planning, implement work schedules, and issue task instructions to relevant teams.
• Monitor and control the construction process; provide technical guidance to on-site operators and maintain construction logs.
• Assist in organizing equipment entry inspections, quality and safety checks, and project inspections and acceptance.
• Manage and organize technical documentation according to company requirements.
• Carry out other duties assigned by supervisors.
