Job summary

Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) is seeking a qualified LRV Project Engineer to assist the Manager, LRV in coordinating design, manufacturing, testing and commissioning activities across stages of the project, including inspection and FAT.

With at least five years of relevant experience in passenger rolling stock or railway projects and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, you will support multi-stakeholder interfaces and ensure timely delivery while using MS

Qualifications

• At least five years of relevant experience in passenger rolling stock projects.
• University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• PC literate with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Committed team player and able to work with project stakeholders
• Willing to work outside Klang Valley area

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager, LRV in managing activities across design, manufacturing, inspection, testing and commissioning stages.
• Review submissions and close out technical issues to meet project timeline.
• Witness routine tests, type tests, interface tests, FAI and FAT.
• Witness and validate the manufacturing process of passenger rolling stock.
• Perform off-site and on-site testing and inspection activities.
• Assist in interface design management and project management matters.
