Job summary

RAILWAY ASSETS HOLDING SDN. BHD. is seeking an Engineer for Rail Projects to support the delivery of Systems, Electrifications and Trackworks. The role requires 3–5 years of rail engineering experience and proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation.

You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and cross-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time, compliant project outcomes and ongoing improvements in rail technology and practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of rail engineering experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is an advantage.
• Experience with KTMB projects is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of rail systems and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of rail engineering projects.
• Provide technical input and assist senior engineers and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to meet project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, and report updates.
• Identify engineering issues and assist in developing practical solutions.
• Stay updated with advancements in rail technology and industry practices.
• Assist in overseeing projects related to Systems, Electrification, Trackworks Government DE projects, RAC initiatives.
• Support contract management implementation when assigned.
• Attend internal and external meetings, workshops, tests, and inspections, and prepare minutes when necessary.
• Undertake other rail-related tasks as assigned by VP Rail or COO Rail.
