Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Logistics Leader to manage daily import/export operations, ensure customs compliance, and drive LMW-based efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Malaysia.

You will supervise a logistics team, optimize processes, and coordinate with multiple departments to meet service and cost targets, with focus on lithium battery shipments and international trade standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, SCM, international trade, business admin or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in logistics, customs, import/export, or supply chain ops, with 2+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of LMW ops, customs regs, import/export procedures, and global trade compliance.
• Experience handling land, sea and air freight, including lithium battery shipments.
• Familiar with Incoterms, HS codes, customs valuation, duties and taxes.
• Experience in logistics cost management, budgeting, supplier mgmt, process improvement.
• SAP/ERP and Microsoft Office proficiency; Excel emphasis.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving.
• English and Mandarin communication ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily import and export logistics operations, customs clearance, and LMW compliance.
• Lead and supervise the logistics team to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
• Develop and improve logistics, customs, and warehouse processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, LMW requirements, and international trade standards.
• Manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers to achieve service targets.
• Drive logistics cost reduction initiatives and monitor departmental budgets and expenses.
• Review logistics KPIs and prepare monthly management reports.
• Monitor shipment performance, resolve critical logistics and customs issues, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Oversee HS Code classification, customs declarations, freight invoice reconciliation, and payment approvals.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and other departments to support business operations.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate team members to improve performance and capability.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
