Job summary

LYC Mall Sdn Bhd (Plaza Low Yat) seeks a Senior Leasing Executive to drive leasing strategy and maximise occupancy across premier retail properties in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. You will manage tenant relationships and secure new brands, overseeing the full leasing cycle from prospecting to onboarding.

The role requires 3–5 years in retail/property leasing, strong negotiation and communication skills, and deep knowledge of the KL retail market. Competitive package and health benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in retail/property/commercial real estate.
• Proven track record of closing deals and achieving occupancy targets.
• Strong negotiation and sales skills with stakeholder rapport.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Deep knowledge of Kuala Lumpur retail market and brands.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and CRM software.
• Able to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Professional qualification in real estate or related field is advantageous.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source, identify and secure new retail tenants through business development and market analysis.
• Negotiate lease terms, rental rates and commercial agreements to maximise revenue.
• Manage full leasing cycle from prospect engagement to lease completion and onboarding.
• Maintain relationships with existing tenants; pursue renewals and expansions.
• Prepare leasing proposals, presentations and marketing materials.
• Conduct market research to benchmark rents and identify trends.
• Coordinate with property management, marketing and finance for tenant integration.
• Monitor lease compliance and manage documentation including renewals.
• Report leasing performance, occupancy and pipeline to senior management.
• Represent the property at industry events to build brand visibility.
