Job summary

Celestica Inc. in Penang is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer, Software to lead BSP and firmware development for high-performance networking switch platforms, including designing and integrating Linux device drivers and customizing boot code.

You will provide technical leadership to a team of engineers, collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams, and drive bring-up, qualification and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6–12 years of relevant experience in BSP/firmware development and leadership responsibilities.
• Experience designing, developing and delivering BSP, firmware and device drivers for networking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and implementation of BSP and firmware solutions; participate in project planning and scheduling.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers; serve as go-to expert in BSP or platform areas.
• Develop and integrate Linux device drivers for networking components and customize BSP/boot code; drive board bring-up with hardware/manufacturing teams.
• Manage cross-functional relationships with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure quality and delivery.
