Job summary

Celestica Inc. in Penang is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer to drive BIOS/system firmware development for networking platforms.

You will own hardware initialization, manage BIOS/UEFI and coreboot/LinuxBoot stacks, and influence boot behavior, security, performance, and reliability for at-scale data centers. The role requires strong C/C++ programming, deep x86 bring-up expertise, and collaboration with silicon vendors, ODMs, and hardware teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient in BIOS/system firmware development with exposure to UEFI or Open System Firmware stacks.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, assembly, Python, and shell.
• Experience with x86 platform bring‑up, CPU/memory/PCIe initialization, and platform security features.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of BIOS/system firmware solutions and participate in planning.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers; act as expert in BIOS/platform areas.
• Review customer BIOS requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
