Job summary

OFS Malaysia, a MODEC Group company, seeks a Senior Lead Engineer, Mechanical Marine to drive the mechanical design and specification of offshore package equipment. You will lead design activities in FEED and detailed engineering for offshore projects based in KL, coordinating with project teams and vendors.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of marine mechanical systems, and experience in regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical marine packages and industry codes.
• Ability to review specifications and standards for EPC projects.
• Proven track record in leading design and engineering activities.
• Strong leadership for multidisciplinary teams in offshore environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for marine package equipment and systems.
• Direct engineers in FEED and detailed engineering for offshore projects.
• Review and validate technical deliverables with stakeholders.
• Perform technical bid evaluations to ensure supplier compliance.
• Oversee drawings, calculations, and vendor documents.
• Provide on-site support during construction and commissioning.
