Job summary

Luxoft in Kuala Lumpur operates a new technology centre delivering innovative financial technology solutions for a leading bank with a global footprint. The role provides L3 production support for Java-based microservices, ensuring high availability and rapid incident resolution.

You will troubleshoot complex production issues, perform RCA, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across development, infrastructure, and operations.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in L3 Production Support for enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Strong experience with Apache Camel.
• Experience with JBoss Application Server.
• Hands-on experience with MQ/JMS messaging.
• Experience developing or supporting REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Strong experience in incident analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 production support for Java-based microservices applications, ensuring high availability and operational stability.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incidents within agreed service levels.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes for recurring production issues.
• Monitor application health, logs, and system performance to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Support production deployments, application releases, and change implementation activities.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, middleware, and business teams to resolve production issues.
• Analyze application logs, database queries, messaging flows, and API interactions to identify defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes following organizational standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles for production support activities.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement by automating support processes and reducing recurring incidents.
