Job summary

Luxoft in Kuala Lumpur operates a new technology centre delivering innovative financial technology solutions for a leading bank with a global footprint. The role provides L3 production support for Java-based microservices, ensuring high availability and rapid incident resolution.

You will troubleshoot complex production issues, perform RCA, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across development, infrastructure, and operations.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in L3 Production Support for enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Strong experience with Apache Camel.
• Experience with JBoss Application Server.
• Hands-on experience with MQ/JMS messaging.
• Experience developing or supporting REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Strong experience in incident analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 production support for Java-based microservices applications, ensuring high availability and operational stability.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incidents within agreed service levels.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes for recurring production issues.
• Monitor application health, logs, and system performance to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Support production deployments, application releases, and change implementation activities.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, middleware, and business teams to resolve production issues.
• Analyze application logs, database queries, messaging flows, and API interactions to identify defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes following organizational standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles for production support activities.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement by automating support processes and reducing recurring incidents.

Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, are looking for Consultants to be part of the project.The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.This role is for a L3 Production Support resource who has hands-on experience in microservices technologies and with ability to fix issues and take it through to production. This role requires 100% Hands-on coding and development on skills of Java, Spring Boot, Camel, JBoss, MQ, JMS and Webservices.

Responsibilities

SKILLS

Must have

• 3-5 years of hands on experience on developer.
• Hands on Experience should include- ESB or SOA Architecture- Services governance and design- Unix and Linux hand’s on and scripting language- SpringBoot, Spring Batch, Drools and Apache Camel- IBM MQ, REST, SOAP, WSDL- Spring Security, Netegrity, PKI, JCE, JSSE- Object Design and Modeling
• DevOps (Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Sonarcube, Veracode, Xraty etc)
• Experience with at least one of Oracle, MS SQL, Maria DB or any NoSQL
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
• Go getter attitude in getting things done with minimal supervision.
• Articulate communication skills, ability to work with multiple teams
