Job summary

PwC Malaysia is seeking a Senior Associate for Tax technology services focused on delivering quantitative tax solutions and technologies. You will leverage data analytics and Azure-based tools to optimise tax processes, provide L2 support for e-invoicing solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.

The role involves working with developers and business analysts to resolve issues, document procedures, and drive improvements in on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in C# development.
• Experience with Azure portal and monitoring tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in writing and optimizing SQL and NoSQL queries.
• Familiar with Linux command line on Ubuntu/Red Hat.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Able to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Nice to have knowledge of Malaysia's e-invoicing processes and mapping tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for e-invoicing solutions, handling incidents and service requests.
• Analyse and resolve technical issues with workarounds.
• Escalate complex problems to higher-level or development teams.
• Monitor system performance using Azure monitoring tools.
• Work with development teams to convey requirements and improvements.
• Document solutions to maintain knowledge base.
• Installations for on-premises environments and troubleshooting.
• Assist in developing scripts in C# to improve functionality.
• Assist updating mapping implementations via Altova MapForce.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure performance and compliance.
• Automate routine tasks using containerization and DevOps practices.
• Provide guidance and training to end-users and junior staff.
