A beverage company is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to lead key account strategies and manage relationships with major retailers. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in Key Account Management, strong communication skills, and is proficient in Microsoft Office. This role involves tracking sales performance, preparing business reviews, and mentoring a small sales team. The position is based in Shah Alam, Selangor and requires local and regional travel.
We're looking to add a Senior Key Account Manager located in Shah Alam, Selangor to support our extraordinary teams and contribute to our growth.
Travel locally and regionally as required to support business operations and partner relationships.
Maintain active communication with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment, performance, and continuous improvement.
Drive the introduction of new or trading products into stores, with a focus on long-term growth potential.
Identify and pursue upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities in existing accounts.
Lead pricing, contract renewal, and commercial negotiations with key retailers, OEM clients, and distributors.
Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews, pricing proposals, promotional analyses, and strategic recommendations.
Track, analyse, and report on sales performance, trade ROI, and channel profitability.
Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to support trade activities, resolve supply issues, and enhance execution at store level.
Act as the internal voice of the customer, ensuring expectations and requirements are clearly communicated and met.
Provide structured mentorship and individual development plans to build team capabilities and retention.
Lead, coach, and develop a small team of sales personnel; establish clear KPIs and foster a performance-driven, accountable culture.
Conduct regular business reviews, compliance checks, and sales enablement initiatives for distributors and regional partners.
Supervise and support local and overseas distributors in Malaysia to drive performance and ensure alignment with brand and commercial goals.
Lead annual business planning, trade marketing strategies, and sales forecasting in collaboration with retail partners and internal teams.
Ensure strong in-store execution, pricing integrity, product visibility, and promotional effectiveness aligned with brand guidelines.
Own and manage strategic relationships with key accounts across MT, LKA, petrol kiosks, convenience stores, and OEM channels.
