Job summary

AGRO SNOW SDN BHD is seeking experienced Senior/Junior Operators for the Spray Drying Process to support the commissioning, start-up and operation of our new plant-based protein facility. The role focuses on operating spray drying and powder-processing systems to achieve target quality, moisture, yield and efficiency.

The successful candidates will participate in system commissioning, operate PLC/HMI controlled equipment, optimise drying conditions and work with QA/QC to verify product

Qualifications

• Diploma / Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Chemical, Process Engineering, Food Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in spray drying or powder-processing operations.
• Experience in dairy, protein, starch, food ingredients, beverage powder or similar industries is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of PLC/HMI-controlled process equipment.
• Commissioning or new-factory start-up experience is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Able to supervise and train Operators.

Responsibilities

• Participate in commissioning, testing, trial production and start-up of the spray drying system.
• Operate and monitor spray dryer equipment through PLC/HMI systems.
• Perform start-up, shutdown, cleaning and product changeover activities.
• Monitor inlet/outlet temperatures, airflow, pressure, feed rate and atomisation.
• Operate and monitor cyclones, bag filters, powder recovery systems.
• Identify abnormal operating conditions and take corrective action.
• Perform first-line process and equipment troubleshooting.
• Work with OEM, Engineering and Maintenance during commissioning and testing.
• Optimise drying conditions to achieve quality, yield and capacity.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for sample collection and quality verification.

Senior/Junior Operator - Spray Drying Process

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Senior Operators - Spray Drying Process to support the commissioning, start-up and operation of our new plant-based protein manufacturing facility.

The position is responsible for operating and monitoring the spray drying and powder-processing systems to achieve required product quality, moisture content, yield, capacity and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in commissioning, testing, trial production and start-up of the spray drying system.

Operate and monitor spray dryer equipment through PLC/HMI systems.

Perform start-up, shutdown, cleaning and product changeover activities.

Monitor critical parameters such as:

Inlet and outlet temperatures

Airflow

Pressure

Feed rate

Atomisation

Operate and monitor cyclones, bag filters, powder recovery systems and related equipment.

Identify abnormal operating conditions and take corrective action.

Perform first-line process and equipment troubleshooting.

Work closely with OEM, Engineering and Maintenance teams during commissioning and performance testing.

Optimise drying conditions to achieve required product quality, yield and plant capacity.

Coordinate with QA/QC for product sampling and quality verification.

Maintain accurate production, process, downtime and cleaning records.

Guide and train Operators assigned to the spray-drying section.

Support preparation of SOPs, operating procedures and checklists.

Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, hygiene and food-safety requirements.

Maintain good housekeeping and safe operating conditions.

Participate in root-cause analysis and continuous-improvement activities.

Requirements
