Job summary

Norel Nutrition Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is hiring a Production Operator for animal feed manufacturing. The role involves operating 25 kg bagging lines, performing material handling, and assisting with raw material feeding and basic equipment operation.

You will use a forklift to move materials, ensure FIFO and traceability, and conduct routine quality checks. The incumbent should maintain clean, safe production and warehouse areas and participate in commissioning and ramp-up as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in production or factory operations.
• Experience with 25 kg bagging operations.
• Forklift operation experience; license is an advantage.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, or similar quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate 25 kg bagging equipment including weighing, sealing, stitching and labelling.
• Load/unload from tanks and IBC.
• Perform manual handling, stacking and palletising of finished goods.
• Support production activities such as raw material feeding, mixing and basic equipment operation.
• Operate forklift to move materials and finished products.
• Follow FIFO, lot traceability, and bin allocation procedures.
• Conduct basic visual quality checks on finished products and packaging.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of production and warehouse areas.
• Comply with GMP, HACCP, feed safety and workplace safety requirements.
• Assist during plant commissioning, start-up and ramp-up.
• Report equipment issues, deviations or safety risks to supervisor.
• Support basic maintenance tasks as instructed.

Operate bagging equipment for 25 kg bags, including weighing, sealing, stitching, and labelling.

Loading / unloading from tanks and IBC.

Perform manual handling, stacking, and palletizing of finished goods.

Support production activities such as raw material feeding, mixing, and basic equipment operation.

Operate forklift to move raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.

Load and unload materials from trucks and internal storage areas.

Follow FIFO, lot traceability, and bin allocation procedures.

Conduct basic visual quality checks on finished products and packaging.

Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of production and warehouse areas.

Comply with GMP, HACCP, feed safety, and workplace safety requirements.

Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety instructions.

Assist during plant commissioning, start-up, and production ramp-up.

Report equipment issues, process deviations, or safety risks to the supervisor.

Support basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, inspections, and minor adjustments as instructed.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1–3 years of experience as a production or factory operator, preferably in:
• Animal feed
• Feed additives
• Food or related manufacturing industries
• Proven experience with 25 kg bagging operations.
• Experience operating a forklift; valid forklift license is an advantage.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment is required.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, or similar quality systems is an advantage.
