Job summary

AIA is seeking a Core Application Development Specialist-Consultant to design, develop, and maintain BPM and document management solutions. You will oversee delivery of prioritized work, coordinate across local and offshore teams, and ensure security and quality standards across the development landscape.

Ideal candidates have at least 8 years of IT delivery experience, strong Java/J2EE with Spring Boot, BPM tools, and cloud/deployment skills across Azure, Docker, AKS, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• University Degree in IT or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT solutions delivery.
• Proven ability to manage and collaborate with internal and external teams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in Java/J2EE, BPM or workflow systems.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and business domain.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE (Spring Framework) and Spring Boot microservices.
• Experience with JBoss EAP, Drools, and Apache web server.
• MS SQL Server knowledge and stored procedures.
• Experience with BPM/Workflow systems (OpenText Case360, Software AG BPM, Logic Apps/PowerApps).
• Cloud skills in Microsoft Azure, Docker, AKS, and Azure Functions.
• Additional Python, C#, and SharePoint skills.
• Familiarity with AngularJS, jQuery (Kendo UI), and JSP.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of prioritized works for new product roll-out initiatives.
• Manage prioritization and execution of tasks in enterprise applications (Case360, CIS, FPR, LEAP).
• Design, develop, and maintain BPM and Document Management solutions.
• Proactively manage quality standards across development teams and vendors.
