Job summary

GrowthOps Asia is seeking a Senior Java Developer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications. You will contribute to service implementations, database integration with MySQL, and collaborate closely with clients to translate requirements into robust backend solutions.

Experience with CMS platforms, especially Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.4+), is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional software development, designing and maintaining enterprise-grade Java apps.
• Strong Java development experience with clean, efficient, maintainable code.
• Good understanding of OOP, best practices, and backend patterns.
• Good working knowledge of MySQL and relational databases, including SQL queries.
• Experience with database schema design and implementation.
• Understanding of transactions, indexing, data integrity, and relational modelling.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a structured manner.
• Good communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, following coding standards.
• Willingness to learn TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS.
• Cloud computing with AWS or Azure is a plus.
