Job summary

Ams Osram in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage e-Sourcing activities across APAC and EMEA, including RFX, eBiddings, eAuctions and Sealed Bids.

The role covers acquiring new e-Sourcing projects, providing training to internal and external stakeholders, and supporting e-Sourcing reporting for monthly cycles and FY close. Mandarin and SAP/ARIBA experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Management, or a related field.
• 5 years’ experience with SAP / ARIBA system or relevant experience as a buyer is a plus.
• Self-sufficient, with strong initiative and sense of ownership.
• Global / Regional (APAC) exposure will be an advantage.
• Mandarin proficiency required to support APAC operation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate e-Sourcing events (RFX, eBidding, eAuctions, Sealed Bids) for APAC & EMEA.
• Acquisition of new e-Sourcing projects: consulting CBMs, PMs and Buyers on e-Sourcing strategies.
• e-Sourcing preparation and training (internal & external).
• Provide e-Sourcing training to users across the regions as part of onboarding.
• 1st Level Support for procurement tools & systems (Ariba) in the APAC Region.
• Support continuous optimization of e-Sourcing processes and monthly reporting.

Job description

• Project coordinator - Management of e-Sourcing (eRFX, eBiddings, eAuctions, Sealed Bids) in the APAC &EMEA region
• Acquisition of new e-Sourcing projects: Consulting CBMs, PMs and Buyers on eSourcing strategies
• e-Sourcing preparation
• provide e-Sourcing training (internal & external)
• Perform e-Sourcing events on eSourcing day
• Support e-Sourcing reporting (monthly basis, individual requests + FY closing)
• Support continuous optimization of e-Sourcing process
• 1st Level Support for specific Procurement Tools & Systems (Ariba) in the APAC Region.
• Serve as process/project support for new process introductions (related to eSourcing, Procurement Tools & Systems (ARIBA) etc). This including conduct training to users as part of the project roll out strategy
• Trial run testing to support and development of Procurement-specific tools
• Supplier Enablement- assist supplier to register in Ariba and assist on PO and invoice related issues.
• To conduct training for the Ariba users across the regions on periodically basis as part of new Procurement team members onboarding process
• Provide support to same team colleagues from other regions on specific tasks when required
