Job summary

Phillip Capital Group is seeking an IT Project Manager in Kuala Lumpur to lead end-to-end IT projects. You will coordinate internal teams and external partners, ensuring projects deliver quality solutions within scope and budget.

The role requires 5+ years in project management, strong planning, leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work independently with a proactive approach. Securities industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related field.
• At least 5 years of work experience in project management and related roles.
• Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
• Able to prepare project budgets and timelines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent with a proactive, results‑oriented approach; strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full development lifecycle, from design and planning through development and release.
• Provide project management support during implementation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment with project objectives and requirements.
• Manage project scope and objectives with input from all relevant stakeholders; ensure feasibility within budget.
• Oversee in-house development resources for timely delivery of quality solutions.
• Track progress and communicate status updates, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and implement action plans to mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
