Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Executive - System Management (Near MRT) to oversee system management units, including servers, networks, infrastructure, IT operations, endpoint management, and cybersecurity. You will delegate IT tickets, manage inventory, plan capacity, research new technologies, develop IT policies, safeguard data, and strengthen risk management in line with ISO/group requirements.

Candidates should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's in CS/Engineering or related field, with 2–4

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject.
• 2-4 years proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows/UNIX/Linux based environment and network security (router, firewall, clouds and etc)
• Experience in Cloud Solutions, virtualization and containerization (eg, VMware, Virtual Box etc)
• Solid knowledge and skills in network, server platform and cyber security
• Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing IT Helpdesk and IT Operations best practices, network operations, cyber security operations.
• Strong in teamwork and ability to interact with all levels

Responsibilities

• System Management Oversight: Manage the system management units, including servers, networks, infrastructure, IT operations, endpoint management, and cybersecurity.
• IT Request Delegation: Delegate IT tickets and requests among team members, ensuring follow-through and timely resolution.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain up-to-date information regarding IT inventory for efficient deployment and installation.
• Capacity Planning: Develop and propose capacity management plans to prevent business disruptions and ensure smooth operations.
• Technology Research: Research emerging business technologies and IT software to enhance the organization’s IT systems.
• Policy Development: Develop IT policies and procedures to comply with group and audit/ISO requirements.
• Data Security: Safeguard data and information assets by identifying and addressing potential and actual security issues.
• Risk Management: Develop and enhance the organization’s risk management framework.
