Job summary

Celestica is seeking an Analyst, IT Infrastructure in Kulim, Malaysia to install, maintain and upgrade the site’s IT environment, ensuring reliability, performance and security. The role covers monitoring, incident response, deployment of new technologies and testing of PC/server OS, networks and related hardware.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of IT experience in hardware, software and networking, a IT-related degree, and CCNA or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• The job requires strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude are important.
• Languages include Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and English for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Providing computers, networks, servers, IT & office equipment installation, configuration, management, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Plan, manage, revise and continuously improve IT infrastructure, network topology, cabling and interconnect.
• Plan and maintain High Availability on IT infrastructure (uptime on systems, databases, network).
• Monitor and propose improvement/upgrade for systems and network growth demands.
• Ensure IT systems and computer are secure and compliant with Corporate IT Security Policy.
• Daily monitor IT Service Requests/Incidents for timely correction.
• Prepare technical documentation and update SOPs.
• Liaise with Global IT Team and vendors to ensure timely implementation.
