Safeguards Secure Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator in Malaysia. The role focuses on maintaining LAN/WAN connectivity, managing Microsoft 365 services, and providing escalated technical support.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of IT infra experience, strong Windows Server and AD knowledge, and solid networking and security understanding. You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure uptime and documentation.”

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, IS or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant IT experience in infrastructure, system administration or IT operations.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online.
• Good networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, switches, routers, firewalls.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with IT vendors and service providers.
• Good understanding of IT security and access management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN and network connectivity issues.
• Investigate connectivity or performance issues.
• Ensure appropriate user access and permissions are maintained.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Manage user accounts, licenses, mailboxes, distribution groups and security settings.
• Troubleshoot email delivery, authentication and M365 issues.
• Provide Level 2 / 3 technical support to users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, network and application issues.
• Support Windows desktops, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Diagnose hardware problems and recommend repair or replacement.
• Escalate complex issues to vendors/teams when required.
• Ensure IT incidents/requests are recorded and resolved within SLA.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, licenses and equipment records.
• Coordinate with vendors/service providers for maintenance, support and procurement.
• Document troubleshooting procedures and technical solutions for recurring issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and network connectivity issues.
• Investigate connectivity or performance issues.
• Ensure appropriate user access and permissions are maintained.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Manage user accounts, licenses, mailboxes, distribution groups and security settings.
• Troubleshoot email delivery, authentication and Microsoft 365-related issues.
• Provide Level 2 / Level 3 technical support to users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, network and application issues.
• Support Windows desktops, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Diagnose hardware problems and recommend repair or replacement based on technical and cost considerations.
• Escalate complex technical issues to vendors or relevant technical teams when required.
• Ensure IT incidents and requests are properly recorded and resolved within agreed timelines.
• Ensure critical IT services are available and operating effectively.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, software licenses and equipment records.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance, support and procurement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations and procedures.
• Maintain records of IT assets, licenses, warranties and maintenance contracts.
• Document troubleshooting procedures and technical solutions for recurring issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in infrastructure, system administration or IT operations.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online.
• Good knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, switches, routers and firewalls.
