Job summary

Alliance Bank seeks a senior IT architect to define and communicate technical solutions at architecture and design level, aligned with business objectives. You will provide hands-on guidance with recommendations, documentation and best practices across engagements.

Responsibilities include administering enterprise systems, ensuring availability for IBM i, DSCLI, PowerHA, and storage technologies; driving governance, incident response, and change management; and leading IBM i tech refresh

Qualifications

PowerHA System Mirroring for Storage Replication/DR.
ACS knowledge, especially flashcopy-related capabilities.
Storage technologies (SAN/NAS/iSCSI) with platform background.
Hybrid & cloud systems concepts and virtualization awareness.
Understanding of ITIL and governance frameworks.
Risk management, regulatory awareness (BNM) and internal audit.
System monitoring, troubleshooting, and log analysis.
Knowledge of industry standards and emerging tech.
Minimum 5 years of IBM i and related device administrations.
Familiar with DSCLI and IBM storage (e.g., DS8K).
Experience with IBM MQ and BRMS.
Experience in IBM PowerHA tasks (flashcopy, role-swap).
Team lead / project management for IBM i tech refresh projects.
Proficiency in CL programming and SQL.

Responsibilities

Define and communicate technical solutions at architecture and design level aligned with business objectives.
Provide hands-on design guidance with implementation best practices and documentation.
Be the gate-keeper of solution delivery ensuring governance and process adherence.
Configure and provide technical support for IT security infrastructure components.
Ensure incidents are resolved within the agreed SLA and follow incident management.
Escalate high-priority chases to Incident managers.
Create change records, draft implementation steps, and execute changes.
Identify root causes and drive permanent improvements from RCA.
Plan strategy for system and operational process enhancements.
Evolve or refresh technology to stay current, including cloud/hybrid initiatives.
