Job summary

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking an experienced infrastructure leader to oversee the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of enterprise systems. You will drive strategic planning, governance, and uptime across IBM i and storage platforms, ensuring stability, security and performance in line with bank policies.

You will lead a team to proactively support business operations with minimal service disruption.

Qualifications

Extensive experience managing IBM i environments and storage ecosystems.
Knowledge of DR, storage replication, and data protection concepts.
Familiar with IT governance, risk, and regulatory awareness (BNM).

Responsibilities

Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure systems per policy.
Strategic planning including budget, resources, tech assessment and governance.
Lead and mature the team to support business with minimal interruption per SLA.
Define technical solutions aligned with business objectives at architecture level.
Provide hands-on guidance for design and implementation phases through docs and viewpoints.
Administer reliable operation of enterprise platforms and oversee capacity planning for IBM i storage.
Manage incident response for IT security components and ensure RCA-driven improvements.
