Job summary

OCBC is seeking a Technology Architecture professional to architect scalable banking solutions. The role focuses on delivering domain‑aligned technical designs for payments, loans, cards, and core banking within a financial services context.

You’ll lead architecture reviews, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive architectural projects from inception to completion, ensuring integration and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in technology roles, with 7+ years preferred as architect/lead in banking or financial services.
• Expert proficiency in Java/J2EE technologies and modern architectural frameworks.
• 3+ years hands-on in designing Microservices, messaging (Kafka, MQ), and relational/non-relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable, secure application solutions for banking/financial services.
• Lead design reviews and ensure adherence to architecture principles across deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust architecture designs.
• Develop architecture strategies and roadmaps aligned with enterprise standards.
• Provide detailed technical designs including domain-driven design and microservices granularity.
