Job summary

Ichor Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Inventory Optimization Manager to lead the Planning & Analytics team in Asia, guiding inventory strategy across Singapore and Malaysia.

The role combines hands‑on leadership with advanced Power BI to enable data‑driven decisions and executive reporting. The successful candidate will manage ECOs, supplier/material claims, and E&O inventory strategies, while presenting findings to the executive team to optimize costs and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (SCM/Engineering/Business).
• 8+ years of inventory management or supply chain experience, 3+ years in management.
• Proficient in ERP systems and inventory mgmt software (SAP/Oracle).
• Advanced Power BI skills for reporting and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with data interpretation.
• Proven experience presenting to executive leadership; clear communication.
• Hands‑on leader who mentors a team and drives strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Inventory Control Analysts in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Forecast and manage ECO effectivity dates and inventory adjustments.
• Develop strategies for managing excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory.
• Oversee claims processes for cancelled or stranded materials and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Regularly present inventory performance, trends, and risks to executives using Power BI.
• Assess and improve inventory management and claims handling processes.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and production to align goals.
