Job summary

Arizzu Design & Build in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to create space plans, 3D and 2D drawings, models and visuals from concept to handover.

You will meet clients to determine requirements, propose design concepts and material selections, prepare M&E layouts, conduct site visits, and collaborate with the team to deliver projects within budget and high standards. Experience with residential and corporate offices is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in INTERIOR DESIGN or equivalent.
• 3D Studio Max is a must.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice on space planning, design conceptualization, and materials.
• Meet with clients to determine requirements, present ideas and close deals.
• Create layout plans, 3D and 2D drawings, models and visuals using AutoCad and 3D software.
• Prepare schematic M&E layout plans.
• Prepare 3D perspectives using 3D software such as 3D Max.
• Handle design projects independently from inception to handover.
• Propose design concepts, materials and furniture selections.
• Conduct site visits and surveys when needed.
• Collaborate with the team to develop scope of work and project definitions.
• Ensure design requirements meet client budgets and high company standards.
• Review drafts before distribution to maintain concept integrity and material specifications.

• Responsible to provide professional advice on space planning design conceptualization, materials to customer.
• Able to meet client to determine requirement, needs, present idea & close deal.
• Create layout plans, 3D and 2D detail drawings, models and visuals by using AutoCad software.
• Prepare schematic M&E layout plan.
• Prepare 3D perspective by using any 3D software or 3D max software.
• Able to handle a design project and serve client independently from the beginning to handover a project.
• Proposed design concept, material and furniture selection.
• Site visiting & site survey if needed.
• Collaborate closely with the team to develop a scope of work and project definitions.
• Ensure all design requirements meet the client’s budget and expectation, as well as the company’s high standards
• Prepare and support the Design Team in drawing submissions to ensure the integrity of the concept is maintained by reviewing drafts before distribution, specification of materials, and before all presentational materials (whether board or computer-based)

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in INTERIOR DESIGN or equivalent
• Required Skill(s): 3D Studio Max (must), AutoCAD Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch Up, Lumion and computer literacy: Microsoft Office application.
• At least 4years of experience with design projects involving residential, corporate offices, show units and other related field.
