Job summary

SAS Institute in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Solutions Advisor in Insurance Risk & Finance to lead technical sales, shape demonstrations, and coordinate with Product Management to address market needs. You will engage with senior stakeholders, translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions, and advise on value realization after deployment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• 6+ years in insurance actuarial, risk or finance or equivalent mix of consulting, analytics and customer-facing advisory.
• Insurance domain experience in life, general, composite or reinsurance.
• Working knowledge of IFRS 17, actuarial modelling, reserving, pricing or ALM.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into a technology solution and explain credibly to senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English communication; experience presenting to Chief Actuary and IT heads.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical sale with discovery sessions and tailored demos.
• Design demonstrations, workshops, POCs and executive presentations.
• Articulate business value and differentiation against alternatives.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses.
• Direct development of demo assets in SAS Viya and align content with market needs.
• Coordinate with Product Management to reflect customer needs and competitive intel.
