Job summary

widewings pte.ltd is seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector to oversee precast fabrication and ensure compliance with drawings, ITPs and project requirements for works from Malaysia plant to Singapore. You will review shop drawings, supervise on-site activities, and verify concrete testing, formwork, embedded items, and dimensional accuracy, with experience in viaduct/bridge projects preferred.

This role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and RTO registration where applicable, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Registered or accredited as an RTO by Singapore authority where required.
• 3–5 years of site supervision experience in viaduct/bridge or major infra projects.
• Strong knowledge of LTA Specifications and BCA Codes of Practice.
• Familiarity with quality management systems, inspection/testing procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Ability to review shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and ITPs.
• Good understanding of contract specs, construction sequencing and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Inspect precast fabrication works against drawings and ITP requirements.
• Conduct pre-pour inspections for reinforcement, formwork, dimensions, cover and embedded items.
• Verify reinforcement size, spacing, laps, couplers, anchorage and concrete cover.
• Inspect formwork for alignment, dimensions, cleanliness, levels and tolerances.
• Verify embedded plates, inserts, lifting anchors, sleeves and connection components before casting.
• Witness batching, delivery, slump/workability and concrete casting activities.
• Witness concrete cube sampling and testing and verify test records.
• Monitor concrete compaction, finishing and curing procedures.
• Inspect finished precast elements for cracks, honeycombing, voids, surface defects and dimensional deviations.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of finished precast components.
• Verify identification, marking and traceability of each precast element.

Job description

About you

Registered or accredited as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) by the relevant Singapore authority (where required)

Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant site supervision experience in viaduct, bridge, tunnel, or major infrastructure projects

Strong knowledge of LTA Specifications, BCA Codes of Practice

Familiarity with quality management systems, inspection and testing procedures, and documentation requirements

Ability to review shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and inspection and test plans (ITPs)

Good understanding of contract specifications, construction sequencing, and project coordination
