Qualifications

• Experience in plastic injection molding operations, including machine setup and troubleshooting.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality control practices and measurement standards for plastics.
• Understanding of safety regulations and workplace health and safety.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to meet production targets.
• Effective cross-functional communication with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams.
• Proficiency with manufacturing software and production reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Technical diploma or degree in engineering/manufacturing.
• Prior leadership role in plastics or injection molding is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily injection molding operations and production schedules.
• Lead and coach the molding team; coordinate shift activities.
• Ensure safety procedures and housekeeping practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot molding issues and optimize process parameters.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering on equipment reliability and new tool introductions.
• Prepare production reports and track key performance indicators.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs.
