Job summary

Visible One Limited is a Hong Kong-based digital agency delivering web, branding, and marketing solutions worldwide. The IT Manager leads critical technical operations, hosting, cloud platforms, CI/CD, IaC, and security across production environments.

In this hands-on role, you will own incident response, runbooks, and act as the final escalation point. You will contribute to client meetings, proposals, and solution designs while guiding cost governance and security posture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering.
• 2+ years at a senior or lead level owning production environments.
• Proficiency in Linux administration across major distributions.
• Production experience with at least two major clouds (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and managed services (EKS/AKS/ACK).
• Proficiency in Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Experience with web application operations (PHP/Laravel, Node.js, Next.js) and CMS platforms.
• Professional English (written and spoken). Cantonese is a strong advantage for client/vendor relations.
• Experience in a digital agency or MSP environment.
• On-premise virtualization and hybrid-cloud operation at scale.
• Experience with Hong Kong public-sector procurement/tenders.
• Relevant certifications (RHCSA/RHCE, CKA/CKS, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect).

Responsibilities

• Own the Linux server estate and multi-tenant environments.
• Lead the technical support queue and incident management.
• Produce architecture diagrams, migration plans, and proposals.
• Oversee cloud cost governance, IAM, and security posture.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Build and operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/ACK).
• Maintain IaC using Terraform and Ansible.
• Assist development stacks: Go, Python, PHP/Laravel, Node.js, Next.js/React.
• Develop runbooks and incident response playbooks.
• Manage vendors for hosting, cloud, telecom, and hardware.
