Job summary

HIMA Group is seeking a skilled IT infrastructure engineer to monitor and maintain complex LAN/WAN networks, servers, and cloud integrations. You will troubleshoot incidents, manage virtualization platforms, and drive ISO 27001 and security practices across global teams.

The role requires 4–7 years in infra/cloud operations, strong VMware/Hyper‑V, Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure experience, and the ability to collaborate across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, VPN).
• Troubleshoot Level 2/3 incidents; escalate to vendors when needed.
• Support network segmentation, VLANs, and access control policies.
• Administer and maintain VMware/Hyper‑V server environments; patching and decommissioning.
• Monitor server health and capacity; prevent outages.
• Manage hypervisor platforms and VM lifecycle across server farms.
• Operate and maintain VMware/Azure backups; ensure recovery objectives.
• Enforce infrastructure security standards; patch management and hardening.
• Support ISO 27001 compliance activities and audit prep.
• Collaborate with CISO and security team on vulnerabilities.
• Document infrastructure configurations and SOPs; runbooks.
• Participate in Change and Problem Management; root cause analysis.
• Advise local IT teams on infra topics; upcoming changes.
• Support hybrid connectivity between on‑prem and Azure cloud.
