Job summary

AirBorneo Airways Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Infra & Cloud Engineer to architect and operate a hybrid network, server, and cloud environment for maximum uptime and cost efficiency. The role covers Windows/Linux servers, VMs, and cloud instances (Azure/AWS) with rigorous monitoring and performance tuning.

The incumbent will lead cost-optimisation initiatives, capacity planning, disaster recovery readiness, and L2/L3 support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Relevant professional certifications are a strong advantage.
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in network administration, systems engineering, and cloud environment management.
Solid working knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols, and Active Directory, with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
Strong focus on resource optimization, cost governance, and monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning memory, compute, and network environments.

Responsibilities

Architect, administer, and optimise hybrid network, server, and cloud infrastructure for maximum uptime, high-speed performance, and cost efficiency.
Administer Windows and Linux servers, VMs, and cloud instances (AWS/Azure) with active cost tracking and resource optimization.
Maintain high infrastructure uptime, incident management, and cost-monitoring workflows; push performance tuning and bottleneck identification.
