Job summary

HID Global is seeking a Senior Industrial Software Engineer to design, develop, and support software for manufacturing automation. The role emphasizes HMI development, software integration, and collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and PLC teams to deliver reliable automation solutions.

The position requires a strong software background with automation knowledge and will involve working with cross-functional teams, FAT/SAT activities, and occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software/engineering field.
• 5+ years industrial software development experience in automation/manufacturing.
• Strong C#, .NET, Visual Studio, OOP knowledge.
• Experience with SQL Server and industrial automation systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain industrial software applications.
• Develop and maintain intuitive HMI applications.
• Integrate software with SQL Server databases and PLC systems.
• Support machine commissioning, FAT, SAT, and production start-up.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and produce technical documentation.
